Super Bowl Day 3

Day 3 of our Super Bowl journey was us hanging out at South Beach. We went to the beach, then we spent a lot of time at the Super Bowl Experience!

Super Bowl Day 2

Friday was our first full day in Miami. When we woke up, Lex had her fitting with the NFL. They gave her a personalized NFL jersey with her name on the back.

Before the fitting, we had breakfast at a local cafe, and we bought her shoes that weren't sandals for her rehearsal. They were at rehearsal for most of the day.

When they were at rehearsal, we to a local taco place and walked the beach before coming back to the hotel to wait on her.

When she got back to the hotel from the rehearsal, we went to Coconuts in Fort Lauderdale. It was AMAZING seafood. The environment was cool, and there was a concert playing outside at the restaurant.

Super Bowl Bound

Before COVID, there was the Super Bowl. In January 2020, Lex was selected to represent the Dallas Cowboys at the Super Bowl as one of the winners of the NFL Next 100 challenge.

Alexa was selected out of 18,000 kids to appear in the NFL's "Next 100" Super Bowl ad, which aired moments before the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers kicked off.

It was a really cool, once in a lifetime opportunity for her. They flew us to Miami, they gave us a hotel, $1,000 in spending and food money, and 2 tickets to the Super Bowl.

Right before the game started, she ran onto the field with the other winners to deliver the game ball to the referees, then they pumped up the crowd.

Day 1
The celebration started on the heels of Kobe Bryant's death. Kobe's death hit me hard. I made Kobe shirts for every day of the trip.

We met Lys in Miami. She flew out early with my dad, and we caught up with them at the airport before checking in at the DoubleTree Resort in Hollywood.

After checking in, we went to South Beach to hang out! We wanted to be around everything and see as many NFL people that we could see! It was fun driving down in the Miami traffic, seeing the Miami sign for the first time, and seeing South Beach for the first time.

We put our feet in the sand and hung out at South Beach for a while, taking it all in.
